A look at the new Darren Aronofsky film about the heated rivalry between two talented ballerinas.
Black Swan stars Israeli-born actress Natalie Portman and her fellow Jewish actresses, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder.
The film has been nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Film, while Mr Aronofsky is up for Best Director and Ms Portman is up for Best Actress.
In August it was selected to open the 2010 Venice Film Festival next month. It was the third consecutive film by Mr Aronofsky to premiere at the event, following The Fountain and The Wrestler.
