Who are you in the show?
I’ve joined as ensemble and first cover for the characters Rosa and Orlaith. When I saw Cable Street earlier this year I thought it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen, so now being in it is a dream!
Who’s your Jewish hero?
Barbra Streisand
Golders Green, Hampstead or Redbridge?
Hampstead! My family have a bakery there, Karma Bread, so it has become a central meeting point and haven. Although Pita in Golders Green is the best of the best too!
You’re hungry: Ashkenazi or Sephardi?
I am very much from an Ashkenazi background but I have been swayed by the Sephardi flavours and spices.
Your perfect Sunday morning?
At the moment, it mainly involves recapping all the material for the show!
Best thing about being Jewish?
The sense of community and immediate warmth when you meet someone who is also Jewish.
Did you have a bat mitzvah?
Yes, at Edgware Reform Synagogue
When did you last do Friday night dinner?
Last Friday. We do it every week! Sometimes the cuisine strays from the classic roast chicken and roast potatoes but it’s a weekly place for the family to get together. I treasure it!
