After a two-year conservation project at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, the Painted Hall reopens its doors to the public on March 23.
With various new tours on offer, including self-guided options, visitors will be able to follow a multimedia guide and touch objects inspired by characters or items painted on the famous ceiling, as well as exploring the site including the Water Gate, Grand Square, Victorian Skittle Alley before finishing in the Painted Hall, called the UK’s Sistine Chapel.
Adult tickets cost £12 with unlimited re-entry for a year, while under-16s go free and the first Wednesday of every month is pay as you wish.
Treasures of the Pharaoh
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun, an exhibition featuring priceless artefacts from the boy king’s tomb will be visiting London in November.
Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh will open at the Saatchi Gallery in London until May 3, 2020, with 150 objects on display, 60 for the first time outside Egypt, in the largest Tutankhamun exhibition ever.
A permanent home is being constructed for them at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, and the collection will be returning there after the exhibition closes.

Brickosaurs in Hampshire
Dinosaurs are coming to Hampshire from April — piece by Lego piece, as part of the new Brickosaurs display at Marwell Zoo.
Created by Lego brick building firm Bright Bricks, Brickosaurs features an eight metre T-Rex, the largest touring Lego brick dinosaur model ever made.
The team behind the display have taken 10,000 days to create 50 sculptures using more than two million bricks in total.
Entry will be included with general admission to the zoo, around 20 minutes from Winchester. Brickosaurs opens on April 5 and runs until September 1.
