MJSL JOAN COLLINS PREMIER DIVISION
OAKHILL LIONS 0 HAROLDEANS 4
Adam Shiffman taught the students of Oakhill a lesson to keep Haroldeans’ slim title hopes alive.
Shiffman bagged a hat-trick and Bobby Fishel also weighed in during this one-sided clash.
The Liverpool-based side have it all to do if they want to overhaul runaway leaders Maccabi Manchester 2nds, who hold a nine-point buffer.
But boss Fraser Saville refuses to give up the ghost as Haroldeans look to come up on the rails.
“It’s going to be a tall order to win the league but we won’t drop off the pace," he told JC Sport.
“We need Maccabi Manchester 2nds to drop a few points and we cannot afford to slip up ourselves.
“That does make it a tough challenge and it looks like they have it sewn up.
“But the closer you get to winning something it can sometimes get harder to get over the line.
“We have to cling on to that hope and keep the pressure on.”
