MJSL JOAN COLLINS PREMIER DIVISION
LEEDS MACCABI 1 HAROLDEANS 8
The MJSL champions continued from where they let off last season thanks a second-half super show.
Haroldeans scored six times after the break. Adam Shiffman and Max Barnett bagged hat-tricks while Ben Kersh and Zack Goldsmith also weighed in.
Bloomberg said: "We laid down a marker in what was a brilliant win.
"We were missing three regular central midfielders.
"But the second-half performance ranks as possibly the best I've been involved in as either a player or manager.
"If we keep working hard this could be a very special season."
It was a reality check for Adam Kristall's Leeds side, who have high hopes of mounting their own title push.
Leeds replied via an own goal and Kristall admitted the late collapse hit his side hard.
He said: "We competed well for 60 minutes and never made the opportunities count.
"We need to dust ourselves down and put this behind us. We will learn from it and come back stronger."
