Josh Daniels heaped praise on his Oakhill Lions after they tore Manchester Maccabi 3rd to shreds.
The Manchester students produced a rampant performance with Marc Woolfe, Michael Massarano and Harry Roache on target in the 3-1 win.
Sheldon Lee’s effort for the reigning champions briefly threatened a comeback but Oakhill held on to extend their unbeaten run to six league games.
“We played really well and deserved our win, “said Daniels.
“We played some really good stuff and I thought the likes of Jacob Brunner and Marc Woolfe were excellent.
“That’s six games unbeaten in the league and hopefully we can continue our good run of form.”
Woolfe’s quickly taken free-kick gave Oakhill the lead and Roache thundered home an effort from 30-yards to double the visitors’ advantage.
Maccabi did pull a goal back through Lee but Massarano wrapped up the points after waltzing into the penalty area and finishing with aplomb.
The win leaves Oakhill with 12 points from seven games with a game against winless Leeds Maccabi 3rd to come on Sunday.
