South Manchester Sports 1st warmed up for next Sunday’s title tussle with rivals Miam Miam in perfect style by crushing basement boys Bowler 8-1.

South, who must defeat Miam Miam to have any chance of successfully defending their Manchester Accountants League crown, cruised to victory thanks to another hat-trick from Adam Lavin.

Further goals from Jack Rowe, Daniel Francis, Mark Addis, Michael Sparkes and Harvey Kaye sealed the win.

Leeds Maccabi 1st crushed West Leeds Wortley 5-2 to reach the semi finals of the Premier Division Cup.

Adam Gilman, making his first appearance in over a year after recovering from a knee injury, scored twice, while Richard Black, Dan Davidson and Dan Ross were also on target.

In the MJSL, Leeds Maccabi 2nd eased past Broughton 4-1 with Johnny Goldstone’s double and strikes from Ben Ullmann and Nicky Jacobs completing the win.

Crumpsall 1st grabbed a shock 5-2 victory over Manchester Maccabi 3rd with Michael Freedman and Moishe Klyne both scoring twice with Raffy Klyne also registering. Daniel Harris got both for Maccabi.
