"This is a great moment," Nathan said. “I did my best in every match and it’s great to be recognised by my fellow players.
"We have a great team full of excellent players. We have a real team bond and have gone from strength to strength this season."
Nathan missed part of the season due to injury, but recovered quickly from knee surgery to lead the charge over the second half of the campaign.
"The treble is the aim next season and I’m delighted to be the first player from my family to win an individual accolade as it’s taken my dad 25 years to win something."
