As part of the ‘Gloves and Doves’ initiative, Milch, an ex-super welterweight fighter, will bring a group of teenagers from communities in the Middle East to London for a night of boxing in April.

Milch said: “Our mission is quite simple – to bring together peace and understanding to both Jews and Arabs through boxing. Sport can bring children together and keep them away from crime and violence.

“Gloves and Doves offers recreational and competitive boxing as a means and direction to focus the minds of young people. We give hope, discipline and respect for all those involved, helping to ensure a positive and productive future.”

In other news, Benny Sinakin is scheduled to return to the ring on March 7  in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The light-heavyweight will fight Francisco Ariri Neto in a four-round contest.
