DANNY CARO'S GOAL OF THE WEEK

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. SAUL COHEN (Hendon B) - a delightful free-kick, curling the ball into the top corner from just outside the box
2. LORIAN MADANES (FC Team B) - let rip with a 35-yard half-volley which dipped over the gaolkeeper’s head
3. AVI MARKIEWICZ (London Rovers) - with the game against King Crown hanging in the balance, and just under 10 minutes to go, Avi stepped up for a free-kick almost 40 yds out and leathered it into the roof of the net to seal the points
4. MATT STOCK (NL Raiders A) - a brilliant solo effort against Lions
5. GUY HELMAN (Oakwood A) - GOAL 1 - a wonderful chip from the edge of the box
6. DARREN ZITREN (Temple Fortune) - a fine goal started from Gavin Levy and Mike Myers doubling up and tackling the left back spot and then some good short passing into the centre of midfield. Darren Zitren then saw the space on the right hand side and hared forward before a great pass found him, he took one touch and rifled it home
7. MATT DAVIS (FC Team C) - stunning free-kick against Mill Hill
8. CHARLIE COHEN (Oakwood B) - 2-1 down, 25 minutes to go, free-kick from 20 yards. Up steps "the man we call Champers" to curl one home

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

DANNY CARO'S SAVE OF THE WEEK
OREN HURY (Oakwood A) - made an unbelievable save with his team leading Harmen 2-1

DANNY CARO'S QUOTE OF THE WEEK - ADAM GLEKIN

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - "One final word - we scored a goal today when the ball hit the wire in open play across the 3G pitch and fell kindly to Avishai Kestenbaum who scored - it was bad luck on FC Team but those were the rules and we had to carry on in a professional way - just one of those things and they took it very well on the chin so well done to them for that"
2. RIC BLANK (Oakwood A) - "I'm just glad Tony Gold wasn't there - or he'd have been trying to sign even more of my players after just 20 minutes"
3. ADAM GLEKIN (Hendon B) - "I think most of our lads are relieved whenever we have an away game at the moment, our pitch is a shambles and it was nice to be able to string some passes together on a quality surface at Rowley Lane"
4. JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - "Full credit to Whetstone. They're a nice set of lads. Mill Hill and Jewdinese would have you think we're a bunch of thugs, we're anything but and I really enjoyed parts of this match"

NLR boss Zack Gothelf told JC Sport: "5-0 was harsh on the oranges, but Team B were certainly well worth the points and they should go up as champions."
