Jason Stein has big plans for his Oakwood B squad who find themselves in a higher division after just one season in charge.
COMPETITIONS ENTERED: The PMT, Cryil Anekstein and the league
HOPES FOR SEASON: Off the field, I want to continue to continue to contribute towards the positive atmosphere at the club, help build a sense of community and provide an enjoyable place to play football. Of course a lot of that stems from what happens on the pitch. Some say we've been promoted a season too early, but I know we'll be a competitive side in this division. But 'm not going to get into making predictions about where we may or may not finish.
SQUAD ADDITIONS: We've brought in about a dozen new players and I'm not necessarily done yet.
WHICH ONE EXCITES YOU MOST? That's like asking me to chose between Shavuot cheesecake or Chanukah doughnuts. They've all got great potential to take us forward this season.
PLAYER OUT: Yes, three players have left. Some with our best wishes, some without.
ONES TO WATCH: The thawing of relations meant Maccabi Havana were big players in the market this year and it took some work to keep Jacob Richler Kleiman and he'll certainly be one to watch this season. When you score 25 goals you put a target on your back, but I know he'll handle that.
MAIN RIVALS: I know some of the teams in this league relatively well. Raiders B are a strong side and Team B will definitely be up there. Our competitors specifically? I don't know, but I know we'll have to fight harder this year, cut out the stupid defensive errors and become more clinical in front of goal. We won't get a dozen chances to score a goal, so we'll have to be ruthless in front of goal against good sides.
WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM BRING TO THE LEAGUE THIS SEASON? Competitiveness, pace on the attack and vibrancy. We play good football, but perhaps we need to return a bit more to the physical aspect of football.
CAPTAIN: Elliot Jackson will retain the captaincy
