Scrabble finished the weekend on top of the table after crushing former champions Brady Maccabi A 6-3.

Stefan Simons, Charlie Bernstein (2), Jonny Summerfield, Mark Klinger and a rare goal for Ben Dale completed the rout.

Jon Steinberg, Darren Lewis and Tony Plaskow replied for Brady.

Alex Bourne bagged a brace Southgate Harmen condemned Waldaf Town to their defeat in the Maccabi Masters League Division One.

Goals from Jon Bolle, Adam Lennard and Trevor Granger sealed a 3-0 win for Glenthorne B over Brady B in Division Two.

Elsewhere, a second-half hat-trick from Marc Morris ensured that London Maccabi Lions beat EDRS Stonegrove by the same score.

Also celebrating a hat-trick was Yali Mamouri of Temple Fortune, who netted three times in his team’s 4-2 victory over Hendon Harriers. James Ryan completed the scoring for Fortune.

Andrew Diamond and Andrew Cohen replied for Harriers.
