League newcomers Southgate Harmen moved into a title contention with a 3-0 win over South Mancs, thanks to goals from Simon Gold, Johnny Mack and Paul Stein in Division One.
The top two in Division Two extended their lead, with Glenthorne B enjoying an emphatic 6-0 win over Hendon Harriers. Adam Hart (2), Greg Morris (2), Dave Michaels and Paul van Gelder were the marksmen.
EDRS almost matched them with a 5-0 victory over Marshside. Tony Platman claimed a second half hat-trick, adding to goals from Martin Seifert and Marc Schneiderman.
Meanwhile, St John's Wood Tigers found themselves 2-0 down at half-time to goals from Glenthorne C's Gary Swerner and Nigel Grunberg. And despite Gary Grant saving a Tigers penalty, goals from Perry Somers and Gary Starr brought the scores level and the points were shared.
Brady B edged their encounter with Temple Fortune, coming out 3-2 winners. Robert Botkai scored both goals for Fortune, including one from the spot, but an own goal and strikes from Dean Poster and Roger Kay gave Brady their second win of the campaign.
