North London Raiders extended their lead at the top of the MMFL Division One table with a 5-0 win over Faithfold.

Missing regular goalkeeper Danny Caro, basement battlers held out until half-time before the floodgates opened in the second half, with Wayne Davidson (2), Tony Plaskow, Dan Levy and Rob Cohen doing the damage.

Goals from Steven Gold and Paul Stein earned Southgate Harmen a 2-2 draw with Waldaf Town.

Match of the day saw Chigwell Athletic edge home 4-3 against Brady Maccabi, for whom Scott Warren grabbed a second consecutive hat-trick. However, it wasn’t quite enough as Steve Summers, Russell Yershon and Mark Conway (2) cemented all three points for Chigwell.

In Division Two, goals from Barry Silkman and Faramarz Moghim won the day for Marshside as they beat Glenthorne 2-1, with Sid Shaw replying for Glenthorne.

And at the bottom of the table Temple Fortune and Brady B couldn’t be separated as goals from Dean Poster and Ian Sumray, and James Ryan and Phil Bloomberg respectively earned their sides a share of the points in their 2-2 draw.
