Maccabi Masters review: February 8

articlemain

North London Raiders remain 12 points clear at the top of Maccabi Masters Division One following a 4-0 demolition of Scrabble Harmen.

A double from Kevin Lotzof, plus one apiece from Richard Sacks and centre half Darren Cohen steered them to their 10th win in 13 matches.

Nearest rivals Waldaf Town maintained their challenge with a thumping 5-1 victory over HMH.

Robbie Webber, Lloyd Becker (2), Alex Bourne and Jeremy Leigh were the goal men for Waldaf. Lewis Cohen grabbed a consolation for HMH.

A late own goal earned Chigwell Athletic a point against Faithfold at Parmiters.

Paul Gold fired Chigwell ahead, but a double from defender Anthony Jaff looked to have earned Faithfold only their second win, until Richard Slater's whipped free-kick was deflected into the Green net.

EDRS Stonegrove edged a little closer to Division Two leaders Maccabi London Lions after a draw against Zigzag Marshside, with Marc Morris and Faramarz Moghim scoring respectively in a tight game of few chances.

The division's other game also finished in a draw as Glenthorne and Temple Fortune ended 2-2. Yali Mamouri and James Ryan netted for Fortune.
