London Lions produced a professional performance in beating a struggling New Bradwell St Peter at Rowley Lane.
The win keeps Lions hot on the pace with the current top four with three huge games coming up next week starting with a tough away fixture at Crawley Green.
Lions surged into a 4-1 lead at half-time. Dean Nyman slowly finding his form after a stop-start season netting two, with Sam Sloma and Josh Kennet adding the others. A poor defensive lapse allowed New Bradwell to grab a consolation
It was eight of the best in the second half as Lions punished the visitors virtually every time they broke forward. David Souter helped himself to a second-half hat-trick, Sloma added his second, top-scorer Adam Bolle scored a double, Andy Glynne and Ben Ellis completed the scoring.
It was Lions biggest win since their inception into the South Midlands League and one that manager Tony Gold hopes will drive them forward with a crazy 12 games in 24 days.
