Zac Lewis is my choice for November Player of the Month after a string of first-class displays for treble-chasing Hendon United Sports.
Lewis was in spectacular form, with his sensational late winner against defending league champions Oakwood caught on the JC cameras.
He was described as “amazingly talented” by Hendon boss Greg Corin, who told JC Sport: “In my mind Zac is the most technically gifted player in the league.”
It’s a win double for Hendon with Corin my Manager of the Month following four consecutive victories that has put the Reds within three points of leaders Brady Maccabi with three games in hand.
Corin has been “short on numbers” at times, but he secured two major coups with the arrival of South African defender Larry Cohen and former Player of the Year Dan Howard bolstering the ranks.
Wins over Fairlop – a potential banana skin in the Morrison, Lions Blue, Oakwood and Raiders cemented the accolade for Corin.
James Harpin is recognised as the top goalkeeper following some eye-catching displays for Maccabi London Lions Blue. The young stopper was recently installed as No. 1 in the club’s first team in the Spartan South Midlands League and is definitely one to watch.
Harry Moss, Josh Cinna and Zach Cohen also caught the eye after a series of impressive performances that took Mill Hill Dons to the top of Division Two, under the inspirational leadership of Brandon Hamme.
