HEATON PARK ROVERS 2 SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS 2nd 5
Marc Magid hailed four-goal hero Toby Levy for heaping further misery on struggling Heaton Park Rovers.
It's been a season to forget for HPR and things didn't get any better at the the start of a new year.
They had Levy to thank for that and South Manchester Sports 2nd boss Magid said: "Toby tipped an even game in our balance. His finishing was superb and HPR couldn't handle him.
"It was a game played in poor conditions on a muddy pitch with puddles. But we had to get on with it once we both decided to play.
"It was the same for both sides and we might have adapted slightly better."
The game was evenly balanced at 2-2 at half-time. Alex Swift and Joe Copeland had struck for the hosts with Levy netting a
brace.
But Levy took over after going on to score two more with Max Herman also finding the net.
Magid added: "We finished fourth last season and we would be happy for a repeat of that."
