SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS 1st 2 DELOITTES 2
South Manchester Sports threw away a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw against Deloittes.
Centre forward Adam Lavin capped a superb individual performance with two well-taken goals.
South's Toby Levy said: "It was a real shame as we played well again, but inexperience and silly errors cost us again.
"Perhaps the biggest positive was seeing Ian Tussie return to action, following years of neglect at Oakwood under the stewardship of Ric Blank."
Tussie believes his experiences "down south" will help him achieve great things going forward.
“For me it’s been a fantastic moment to become part of this special club again," he said. In my home country people talk with regularity about Southern Manchester as a club with a great mentality and supporting and for me it is clear that it is the case.
"When I have come back to the club in the summer I have a special feeling of welcomeness from the Owner, the President and the captain of who work with hardness to make me and my wife happy to be in Manchester.
"Sunday was a day of serious emotional emotions for me to wear the shirt of the Nerazurri again after five years.
"I have a space in my heart for the fans and players of Oakwood that is true, even though I have no relationship with Alec and Rick anymore."
