Year Eight starlets Josh Tapnack and Oliver Tibber scored hat-tricks in the 9-0 mauling of Crest Academy. First-half strikes from Tapnack and Dan Brettel had put JFS into a strong position, but they simply blew their opponents away in the second half, with super-sub Tibber scoring three times in less than 30 minutes. A penalty from Alex Brickman and a strike from Jamie Hall added the gloss.

Year Eight manager Mr Bartram said: “This team have deserved their success as they haven’t lost or drawn a single Brent game in two years.

“They showed how hard they can work and just how good they are today.  It’s a great boost for them before the London Cup final in a couple of weeks’ time.”

He went on to say:“JFS is very proud of their achievements and I think we have a seriously talented group here who can continue on to great things.”
