NOMINATIONS
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB C
- James Neidle (CB) - absolutely phenomenal performance at centre-back. Marshalled the backline and handled the aerial bombardment that Fortune threw at them with aplomb. Also popped up with a crucial goal. Superb
- Ezekiel Jacob (CB) - brilliant performance alongside Neidle, was also excellent in the air and is beginning to form an excellent defensive partnership with Neidle.
- Glen Turner (LB) - solid, solid performance at left back. Had the Fortune right winger in his pocket, and contributed greatly to Hendon's offensive efforts as well, setting up the first goal. All action display
---------------------------
FAITHFOLD B
Eric Hovelson (S) - "reminded me of Berbatov in his heyday"
---------------------------
LOUGHTON ORIENT
James Law (LM) - caused the Boca right-back all sorts of problems
---------------------------
CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI
Guy Ben Aroya (GK) - unshakable in goal, and a much deserved clean sheet. He swept like Lloris and commanded his box like SchmeicheL
Simon Wolfson (LB) - unbeatable at left back, both on the ground and I'm the air
Jeff Gotch and Adam Luria (CB) - rock solid in the centre of defence
---------------------------
NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS C
Dan Tannenbaum (RB) - scored a hat-trick, from right back. Linked up with Will Ufland brilliantly on the right hand side causing Whetstone many problems
Jonny Samuel (CB) - A performance you would want from your captain. Threw himself in front of everything and was a huge part in NLR'S first clean sheet of the season
Daniel Polak (CM) - Not for the first time this season, he ran the show from the middle of the pitch. Made the most of the space, and started the move that lead to Raiders second goal
Jamie Weinrich (S) - Might not have been on the scoresheet, but still held up the ball superbly to bring the midfield in, grabbing two assists in the process
---------------------------
NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS A
Jake Doffman (GK) – another performance that exuded confidence and a sixth clean sheet in 11 games
Oli Henry (CM) – came through his first 90 minutes of the season after shaking a groin injury and capped a superb display with a fine goal after surging through the SPEC defence and slotting home
Matt Stock (CF) – playing centre forward for the first time this season, Stocky proved why he’s the MSFL’s most feared forward with an exemplary performance scoring three outstanding goals and contributing to most of the others
---------------------------
LONDON MACCABI LIONS BLUE
Sam Arghebant (CM) - only on for 30 minutes but made such an impact he got the nomination
---------------------------
LOS BLANCOS
Adam Hersh (S) - well-taken hat-trick
Adam Waters (M) - captain's surging runs left the opposition for dead on many occasions
---------------------------
JEWDINESE
Harry Marks (CM) - a true super-sub. Came on at half time and unleashed two incredible strikes to open his account with the Zebras
Jake Erlich (RM) - a top all-round performance and debatably his best of the season grabbing a goal and two assists to aid the 7-1 win
---------------------------
NORTH WEST NEASDEN
Scott Kay (RB) - playing right-back for the first time this year, he was involved in the build-up for the first goal and supplied a great cross for the second and was always a threat going forward and very strong at the back
Dan Orgel (S) - fantastic goal, great work-rate and a big threat for 90 minutes
Ben Chernoff (GK) - only his second game, brilliant save, was very good throughout, dealt with every high ball very well - excellent
---------------------------
BOCA JEWNIORS
Paul Shinwell (CB) - battled for everything and reliable
Dovi Fehler (S) - scored his sevenh goal in six games
