DIVISION THREE
CHAMPS FINISH ON A HIGH
GLENTHORNE UNITED A 2 CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI 0
Newly-crowned champions Glenthorne A finished the season on a high with David Levy and Dan Lipman steering them past the Cats.
Thornes joint player-manager Dan Lipman told JC Sport: "This was a great end to the season. Our home form has been second to none this year. We’ve won every game at Old Chigs and only conceded six goals all season."
Co-manager David Blitz added: "We are looking forward to cheering on the B's in a fortnight and celebrating a double promotion and championship season.
"The boys will have a few weeks off to rest, relax and watch TOWIE before the new campaign gets underway!"
DC Prediction: Glenthorne Utd A 3 Catford & Bromley Maccabi 1

HOOPS MAKE THEIR POINT
NORSTAR B 2 FAITHFOLD C 2
Faithfold kept alive their hopes of a top three finish with a battling point against Norstar at Chase Lodge.
Ben Simons and Simon Beresford netted for the Barry Goldstein Cup winners.
Norstar's goals came through Josh Kleiman and Jonathan Peters.
Jonny Bunt, the Norstar manager, told JC Sport: "The game brings the season to a close and we have been excellent this year and surpassed all expecations.
"The team have matured and our of one defeat since October is pretty impressive. I believe in the league had started in February we would be top right now!
"Given that Faithfold fielded ineligible player for the second week running, we expect to get the three points anyway and that will confirm third place. I just hope we get the promotion our 2011 deserves. Either way we will be back even better and stronger next season."
Faithfold player-manager David Garson told JC Sport: "We were desperately short this week due to injuries and played the first half with 10 men.
"I thought we played very well stuck to our game-plan and were unlucky not to win."
DC Prediction: Norstar B 2 Faithfold C 3

NO FAIRYTALE FINALE FOR REAL
UJIA 2 REAL LIFE 1
Strikes from Dan Roth and Gav Rhodes ensured that Real Life finished the season without a victory as Barry Goldstein Cup runners-up UJIA consolidated sixth position.
UJIA were forced to play with 10 men for 75 minutes. They had only 11 players available and were hit when Nick Russell limped off with a pulled hamstring.
The home side led 2-0 at the interval before Real pulled one back through Dan Markeson to set up a grandstand finish.
The game took another twist when Real had two players sent off. They had their keeper sent off for handling the ball outside the box twice and a midfielder for two bookable offences.
UJIA boss Darren Rolfe told JC Sport: "Having had 10 men from the 15th minute, we were pleased to come away with all three points."
"On another day Assi Avital and Ben Nassim would have had to cut the match ball in half. Both had so many chances it was unreal. The bar and their keeper, before he was sent off, kept Life in the game."
Real Life's Director of Communications Eddie Lewin told JC Sport: "This ends a dreadful season."
DC Prediction: UJIA 2 Real Life 3

POINTS SHARED AFTER 10-GOAL THRILLER
NORTH WEST NEASDEN C 5 LOS BLANCOS 5
Mid-table rivals Neasden C and Los Blancos shared the points following a 10-goal thriller.
Neasden's came from 4-1 down to earn a point with goals from Louis Taylor (2), Adam Levene, Ross Kester and Joel Kanutin.
Adam Hersh (2), Doron Weinstein, Adam Waters and Ariel Weinstein registered for Blancos.
NWN player-manager Louis Taylor told JC Sport: "What a great end to the season. After going 4-1 down we battled, fought, attacked in waves and never ever gave up.
"We brought it back to 4-3 and when they scored again to make it 5-3. Most teams would have given up - not us - two more goals and we got a draw, the least our attacking play deserved.
"It has been an honour to manage this team in our first season. Where other teams spend the game moaning at each other, the ref, and other teams, my boys came out every Sunday morning had a laugh, played some good football and most of all enjoyed themselves.
"Special mention for an exquisite long range effort from Ross Kester today. The feeling at the last-minute equaliser, a header from Taylor, wasn't relief but 'we can go and win this' and if it wasn't for a contentious offside decision we could have done it.
"A great season and in whatever form it is and whatever division, we'll be back next year.
A massive thanks to everyone who played for us this season - you all did yourselves proud."
Blancos boss Joel Minsky told JC Sport: "We are all absolutely gutted at the moment, no other way to describe it. Being 4-1 and 5-3 up, yet somehow snatching a draw from the jaws of victory feels like a defeat.
"Seeing that Shirley lost too makes it worse as we know a win would have guaranteed us fourth spot. It's days like these when we all learn most, and we hope to pick ourselves up, learn from the mistakes and give Inter Borehamwood a good game next week.
"Looking back at the game though, at 4-1 up Neasden did put us under a huge amount of pressure, and with the wind not doing us any favours we were well and truly on the back foot.
"After riding out the storm for a good 25 minutes at the begining of the second half it looked like we had done enough to secure the three points, but once they had got it back to 4-2 there was an alarming sense of inevitability. When Hersh buried a great header to put us 5-3 up, once again that looked like that would be it, but when they got their fourth the players clearly became very anxious and the pressure finally took its toll.
"It was a great game of football all in all, with a draw probably a fair result on balance. Credit to Neasden for never giving up."
DC Prediction: NW Neasden C 4 Los Blancos 1
