FAITHFOLD A 3 LONDON MACCABI LIONS A 3
Mike Pearson was on target against his former club but it was not enough to earn Faithfold maximum points as they were held in their penultimate league game of the season.
Benji Dymant and Daryl Phillips were the other marksmen for the Superhoops who consolidated in third spot.
At one point the Lions led 2-0 with goals coming through Lee Bibring, Guy Morris and Pete Lazard.
Zuriel Solomon, the Faithfold manager, told JC Sport: "We were two down at half time and it took us 25 minutes to start playing which has resulted in us going 2-0 down.
"Credit to boys, we then went 3-2 up after dominating most of the second half. They scored an undeserved equaliser."
Lions manager Eilon Kennet told JC Sport: "Faithfold are very good going forward, and it's a great pity their best striker no longer plays for us.
"With the strikeforce that they have, there were always going to be goals.
"I thought we totally outplayed them in the first half and deservedly went in 2-1 which should have been 3-1 had not he referee disallowed a perfectly good goal by Lee Bibring. It was no consolation that he apologised to us at half time. At 3-1 or 3-0, there was no way Faithfold would have come back.
"The second half was more even, but we finished stronger and missed a couple of chances to win the game towards the end. We're disappointed not to have won."

REDBRIDGE IN 7TH HEAVEN
NORTH WEST NEASDEN B 1 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 7
A fab four-goal salvo from STEVE SUMMERS helped Redbridge extend their lead at the top as they finished in seventh heaven against basement battlers Neasden B.
Strikes from Danny Hakimi, Mitch Lassman and an own goal completed the rout.
Redbridge manager Sam McCarthy told JC Sport: "Once again a commanding performance from the team. This time around we made sure we converted our chances.
"It was important for us to first capture the three points, but secondly, to make sure we capitalised on our goal tally. The boys delivered on both counts.
"Neasden were technically better than the side we faced in our first encounter. Their game was more far more open which provided us with greater opportunity to open up their defence with our fast pace.
"It was critical that we stamped our authority on the game right from the off and with the exception of one or two moments where Neasden had chances, we were never going to look back once we went two up.

Mitch Young’s men went goal crazy as they ended Redbridge’s good recent run with an emphatic victory over at Fairlop.
JONNY BREGER led the way with a sizzling four goal display. There were also braces from Craig Edwards, Matt Drage and Shai Davidi with Jason Wood putting the icing on the cake.
Delighted FC Team manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "This was a tremendous result, and a much-needed one.
"The boys played very well against a struggling Redbridge side but even so, to score so many goals is truly exceptional.
"Hopefully this will give the guys a boost to push on for the rest of the season."

Goals from Danny Reuben and Ricky Rinder helped relegation-haunted Lions C pick up a vital point against in-form Oakwood.
The Oaks had raced into a two-goal lead with Ian Tussie and Antony Kintish finding the net but they were unable to kill off the Lions.

Two goals from the evergreen Rick Harris boosted Camden’s hopes of avoiding the drop as they put in a five-star display against Montana A.
Rob Kaplan, Ben Harris and an own goal wrapped up the win.
Shuey Mirwis and Simon Wax accounted for the Montana goals.
The visitors led 3-2 at the interval and soaked up pressure before adding two more in the second half.
Camden boss Justin Rockberger described it as a "much-needed three points". He told JC Sport: "We had the usual shambles with last-minute drop-outs so it was left to the older generation to come up with the goods.

The Raiders strengthened their grip on the Division One title with an impressive victory over their nearest rivals at fortress Brunel.
Top-scorer David Dinkin, Rik Sherman and an own goal helped them complete a league double over Chigwell.
Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "I am delighted with yesterday's result. Full credit must go to all the players not only for the victory against Chigwell but also the fact that that was our ninth straight league win.
"Yesterday was another tough examination but we stood up well to it and fully deserved the three points.
"Over recent weeks we have started to become more clinical in the final third and our aim is to try and take this performance into all the games we have in the final couple of months of the season."

Norstar did leaders Glenthorne A a huge favour as they claimed a stunning victory over title-chasing Redbridge C at Fairlop.
Josh Green and Jonny Kaye fired the bullets for the Stars.
Norstar boss Jonny Bunt told JC Sport: "I am absolutely chuffed with the result and the display. Admittedly Redbridge weren't at their strongest, but you have to beat what is in front of you and that's what we did.
"To keep a clean sheet and have both starting forwards get goals makes it sound even better but for me the display of the four in midfield Adam Lipman, Jonny Peters, Harry Abrams and man-of-the-match Nick Benson was the best part of the display.
"The fisrt half see-sawed back and forth and both sides had good chances though I always felt we found it easier to break them down and get shots on goal.
"Some of the football we played when in possession was exquisite and I think any side would have struggled against that."
"In the second half, having scored before half time we took complete control - restricting RJC to efforts from set-pieces and frequently opening them up on the break. In truth we squandered enough chances that it might have been a rout.
"Fair play to RJC though who have proved over the rest of the season that they are worthy title contenders and I'm sure they'll be back. It will be a tough ask for us to catch them (though they have some tough games left).
"More importantly for us the significance of this match is that it moves us a step closer to our target of third place and sends a message to Faithfold and Heath Banta that we are chasing them with every intent of catching them and we have the simplest run-in of the three.
"Hopefully that is a statement to the league I wonder if anyone will take more than four points of Redbridge this season as we have ..."
RJC manager Richard Bronzite told JC Sport: “No excuses, we lost to the better team. We were always struggling due to players not turning up, which meant it affected both B and C teams, both started with 11 with no subs and I had a player who had to leave after 30 minutes to go to a stone setting.
“So credit to the boys that played because they worked very hard and tried their best. We never simply got going.
“We must now get over this quick and get ourselves up for next week’s game.
“We have gifted the initiative to Glenthorne who surely must be favourites. We just need to worry about our own game and get back on track.”

A man-of-the-match display in midfield from Josh Cohen set up table-topping Glenthorne A for win number 10 as they swept aside lowly JLGB in Walthamstow.
Dan Lipman, Paul Biller, John Lessem, Dan Shafron and Dave Blackman were the marksmen for the Thornes.
Thornes' joint player-manager Dan Lipman told JC Sport: "After the disappointment of Catford two weeks ago, we needed a performance and that's exactly what the boys gave.
"We were unstoppable in the first half and the game was won by half-time.
"We need to now take one game at a time and continue to perform like we did today.”
JLGB boss Rob Silverman told JC Sport: "It was a brave perfomance against a superior side, but JLGB were much better in the second half and showed signs of actually being able to play football!
"JLGB will be looking to see the season out and hope to return a much stronger force next season, whichever division we find ourselves in.

Inter got back to winning ways with Jerome Colmans, Jeff Gotch, Jonny Meltzer and Scott Ackerman on target against Bilbaum.
Rob Rodney and Calum Little replied for Bilbaum.
Bilbaum boss Josh Ejdelbaum told JC Sport: "Compared the mauling we suffered to them earlier this year, we gave a great performance - and really gave them a game.
"They are one of the strongest teams in the division, but our boys did well, battled hard, and we'll hopefully get back to winning ways next week."

LINDEN PLEASED WITH A POINT

Promotion rivals Blizzard and Shirley were forced to share the points following an entertaining contest in a match moved to Gladstone Park.
Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a very difficult match against top opposition. We had to defend as a group and work hard for the full 90 and didn't fail.
"With the right character and attitude in the last five games we can get the results and promotion."
Shirley Park joint player-manager Dave Lusman told JC Sport: "It was most definitely a case of points dropped for Park. At the full time whistle, fingers were pointed a Gid Gold, Si Shelley and the red mist for missing a hatful of good chances to put Park in the clear at Gladstone.
"Park controlled the best part of the game, limiting Blizzard to only a few openings. Dan Oade stepped in between the sticks and performed very well. His positional sense was excellent and reactions were second to none - keeping Blizzard at bay on the several occasions they broke though.
"However, Blizzard's keeper - Nick Rubin - stole the show. He pushed shots from Nicky Plotnek and Jason Lindsay on to the frame of the goal on two occasions to deny us the lead. He produced save after save and on a boggy pitch and kept Blizzard in the game on numerous occasions.
"Blizzard proved to be extremely hard to break down and it was a well-fought contest. For sure they're one of the stronger teams in the league, however I think they were surprised at the final whistle to walk away with any points from this fixture.
"We wish Blizzard all the best in coming weeks and hope they can do us a few favours against are promotion rivals."

Two more goals from Dany Kon steered high-flying Los Blancos to their 10th league win as they edged past the Hustlers.
Hendon's reply came through an Adam Cohen own goal.
Avi Gelley, the Hendon manager, told JC Sport: "It was a pretty poor game. I'm disappointed we didn't win but we struggled with Benjy Israel out injured, and we missed two open goals which cost us."

A rare headed effort from player-manager Louis Taylor was all that separated the teams as Neasden C recorded their sixth win of the season.
The decisive moment saw good work from James Benedick allow Laurence Spear to set up Taylor who flicked the ball home.
Taylor told JC Sport: "It was a very scrappy game played on a bog of a pitch saw us just about edged it.
"The conditions didn't allow us to play our football but we battled well and it was a good three points."
Fortune's Rob Jay said: "It was a very hard pitch to play on. Another competitive performance but we just couldn't score."
