There are still two years to go, but the bigbuild-up to the 2017 Maccabiah Games has already begun.

Maccabi GB this week launched the first stage of applications for the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel.

The search is on for senior managers, sports chairpersons, team managers, coaches, doctors, medical staff and junior management team members.

Applications for competitors will launch later this year.

Team Maccabi GB aims to take its largest delegation of around 500
participants.

In 2013 Great Britain returned from the 19th Maccabiah with 31 medals across the junior, open and masters categories.
