Fulham have agreed terms with Maccabi Tel Aviv for Israel Under 17 captain Omri Altman.
Club spokesman Ofer Ronen Abels told the JC: "We have agreed terms with Fulham for the player to move. If he is not eventually offered a professional contract, then he will return to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
"If he remains with Fulham then we have agreed a financial package with them for the player we nurtured."
Altman's agent Gilad Katzav said: “Omri is negotiating his personal terms with Fulham. We hope he will be able to move there in a week or two."
Altman who turns 17 later this month is an attacking midfielder who has scored 11 goals this season for Maccabi's under 16 team and five goals for their youth team. He failed to impress during a trial at Liverpool last year.
The player’s mother lives and works in London and he would qualify for a work permit as his parents have EU citizenship.
