Mathilda Marks Kennedy won Maccabi GB's Primary Years 5 and 6 Girls Football Tournament in Mill Hill, held in partnership with UJIA.

Seven schools attended bringing 11 teams, with over 100 girls participated in the event. The teams were split into two groups and each team within their respective group facing-off against one another. The top two teams from each group progressed into the semi-finals. The group stages produced some exciting games and all the girls were well supported throughout the afternoon by the many teachers and parents who had come to cheer on the young players.

The semi-final games saw Sinai take on Rosh Pinah and MMK take on Akiva. Sinai always looked dominant in their game and it was no surprise they ran out easy winners to book their place in the final. However, the game between MMK and Akiva was a much tighter affair and it took a penalty shoot-out to determine a winner. MMK held their nerve to book their final berth.

Sinai started the final in confident mood and created some good chances, but MMK saw off the early pressure and worked their way into the game. Sinai kept pushing for a winning goal, but it was MMK who managed to work a clear opening and slot the ball home to take the lead. Sinai continued to search for an equaliser but MMK held on to win the match and claim their first Girls Trophy at a Maccabi GB Tournament.
