Team Maccabi GB are in action in Open Futsal, Open Football, Masters Futsal and Tennis on Day One at the 14th European Maccabi Games in Berlin today.
OPEN FUTSAL- GB 13 FRANCE 1
Andy Landesberg expressed delight after Team Maccabi GB opened their account with a 13-1 demolition of France, with Russell Goldstein and Alfie Brooks scoring four apiece.
GB made a flying start, scoring inside the opening 20 seconds. They picked France off at will, with Charlie Kasler adding a hat-trick, while further strikes from Charlie Hyman and Liron Mannie completed the route.
Landesberg told JC Sport: "We looked a bit rusty at the start but took our chances well. Everyone played their part."

OPEN FOOTBALL - GB 2 FRANCE 2
A brilliant solo effort from Alex Moss earned defending champions GB a point following a 2-2 draw against EMFT holders France.
Played at Hertha Berlin's training ground, GB made the perfect start when Jordan Nathan powered a bullet header into the top corner from a well-delivered corner kick.
France turned the game on its head with two goals in 15 first half minutes. They were denied by the woodwork during the second half before Moss levelled after a twinkle-toed run and cool finish.
GB are back in action tomorrow against Italy, with Switzerland to follow on Friday. The Swiss were held 1-1 by a late Italian strike earlier today.

MASTERS FUTSAL - GB2 SPAIN 6
There was major disappointment for GB on Monday as they were hit for six by Spain.
Spain stormed into a 3-0 lead before Dan Reuben pulled one back with a well- worked goal following an excellent burst down the right by Mark Wagman who fed him in for a simple tap-in.
But Spain continued to threaten and put another two past Phil Caplin.
Pete Lazard had a goal chalked off in controversial fashion before Reuben converted his and GB's second from the penalty spot. But there was no way back as Spain scored a penalty of their own late on.
GB coach Gideon Barnett told JC Sport: "We were up against it at 3-0 down but I thought we did very well and I'm confident we can still qualify."
