The penultimate day of action here in Vienna saw Team GB add to their growing medal tally with gold and silver in the Boys Junior badminton.
OPEN FOOTBALL – GB 8 AUSTRIA 1
GB confirmed their place in tomorrow’s gold medal match against Germany with an emphatic victory over the hosts at SK Hakoah.
James Gershfield fired a double to take his tally to six goals in the competition. TJ Keterman bagged a brace with other goals coming from Michael Sacks, Daran Bern, Ben Ellis and a worldie from Adam Stolerman.

GB's gold medal hopes were ended as they were well beaten by favourites Lithuania.
Captain Motti Colman scored a consolation.
Jonny Cohen, the GB manager, told JC Sport: "We couldn’t cope with their movement and passing ability."

WOMEN’S FOOTBALL – GB 3 GERMANY 1
GB claimed its first-ever football medal as they claimed a hard earned 3-1 victory over Germany.
Brad Solomons’ troops got off to the perfect start when the impressive Samantha Miller forced the Germans to concede a penalty. Sara Lyons stepped up to blast the spot-kick into the roof of the net inside the opening two minutes.
Miller doubled the lead with a cross-shot that sailed into the far corner. Germany pulled one back but supersub Michaela Green sealed the silver with GB's third.
GB manager Brad Solomon told JC Sport: "I have been involved in Jewish women’s football for 14 years and I’ve never felt so proud about a group of players that we not my family."

David Garcia took gold in the Junior Boys final after beating Yossi Goodlink as GB claimed a one-two.

MASTERS FUTSAL
A hat-trick from Gideon Barnett plus a first-ever Maccabi Games goal from Mark Wagman were the highlights as Adam Lustigman’s GB Masters futsal team boosted gold medal hopes with a 9-2 victory over Gibraltar.
Further strikes from Laurence Newman, Hadley Silver, Ollie Olsen, Max Radford and an own goal completed the rout.

GB won the European gold in the four-person Team Event. Ian Davis, Gary Ellis, Jack Nesbit, Darren Sasienie finished just under 100 pins behind the USA who took the international gold.
