Blizzard Storm ran out 3-1 win over fourth division Temple Fortune B, with strikes from Dean Shaw, Michael Woolf and an own goal doing the trick at Edgwarebury Park.

Fortune pulled one back from the penalty spot through player-manager Terry Jeffries.

Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "We came flying out the blocks, and the way we played in the opening 25 minutues suggested we would go on and easily win the game.

"Full credit to Fortune, they made the job very hard for us and showed they are no pushovers.

"It wasn't easy, but we have won again. That's four straight Minor Cup wins and the whole squad can't wait for the semi-final draw.

"Special praise must go to Dean Shaw and Joe Stolerman who have been immense throughout the competition."

"We have to win the semi-final. I have missed out on Wingate twice before."

Fortune player-manager Terry Jeffries told JC Sport: "It's very disappointing. We weren't that good and the pitch and referee were dreadful.

"We scored two own goals and it's a performance to forget. Shame to go out like that."

Blizzard Storm will travel to Division Three rivals UJIA in the last four.
