Delek Group, the Israeli firm controlled by billionaire Yitzhak Tshuva, is set to sell RoadChef, the motorway services chain it acquired for £375m in 2007. It is not clear why the Israeli group is selling the company, which operates around 30 motorway service stations that feature Premier Travel Inns and the Wimpy burger chain, but the company might be forced to sell for less than half the purchase price. Perhaps Tshuva is eyeing up a more kosher alternative.
