They are one of reality TV’s best-known Jewish couples and Paul and Dorit Kemsley are trading in Beverly Hills for London to launch a property series on Channel 4.
The six-part series, Selling Super Houses, will see the property magnate nicknamed PK help hopefuls sell some of the UKs most expensive homes.
PK and his fashionista wife, who are opening a London property agency, “will stop at nothing when it comes to hiring the very best sales team the country has to offer,” according to program makers.
As part of the series, which launches on 29 August, eight wannabe agents will get the chance to compete against each other in the cutthroat world of multi million-pound real estate.
Those familiar with the couple on Bravo’s hit series The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills will be no stranger to Dorit's iconic fashion sense.
She will help the real-estate hopefuls look their best as they go head-to-head to sell some of the UK’s most exclusive properties.
Speaking ahead of the launch on Channel 4 PK said: “After 12 years out of real estate, I feel the time is right for my return to an industry and city I love.
“When the credit crunch hit, I lost the business it had taken 15 years to build. I had no choice but to file bankruptcy and start again. The USA love a comeback story and afforded me that opportunity.
“Now it’s time for me to share my knowledge and help the next group of young aspiring entrepreneurs right here in the UK.”
He said he was looking forward to “advising some of the UK’s brightest new brokers. It’s going to be an emotional, fun, hectic ride.”
PK and Dorit are not the only Jewish couple on the RHOBH series to turn their hand to property themed reality TV.
Co stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, have a family-run firm The Agency, which represents some of the most expensive properties in Beverly Hills, and is also the subject of a Netflix series.
PK, who has carved out an impressive career in property, sports and entertainment, created his own $2 billion real estate empire from 1995 through to 2009.
The former vice chair of Spurs has bought and sold over 750 buildings, and developed millions of square feet internationally.
And in London property that PK has owned includes The Ned Hotel and the Burberry Building in Haymarket.
Clemency Green, commissioning editor for features and daytime at Channel 4 said: “We are thrilled PK and Dorit are trading Beverly Hills for London.
“They already have some of the country’s most exclusive properties on their books and we have no doubt they will take British estate agency to another level, in the most glamorous and dramatic way imaginable.”
