No stress, just a new address

articlemain

Incentives are the key to selling property, say many developers. But perhaps those incentives should be as much emotional as financial. From the moment you put your house on the market, to the minute you put the key in the lock of your new home — moving house can be a time of terrible anxiety. Statistics published by Channel Four show that up to 44 per cent of people see moving house as the most stressful situation they are likely to experience. Then you have all the practicalities of dealing with utility companies, having mail redirected, cancelling your services and informing friends and businesses of the move.

To ease the pressure on purchasers, housebuilder Fusion Residential has a dedicated client-care team, who will do everything from installing the different services to your property, write to every business to inform them of your change of address and liaise with the post office. This allows purchasers to focus on the important task of making their new home their own, without the worry of speaking to at least seven different operators at a call centre, in the hope that one may have the ability to set up a new account.

The team is also on hand to answer any questions purchasers may have, while providing a one-to-one service to guarantee that each home is up and running as soon as a buyer walks through the door.

Gavyn Fresco, sales director of Fusion Residential, comments: “The client-care department has been designed to help in every aspect of the moving process. From finding your new home to the moment you walk through the door, we will ensure that the process is as easy as possible. We’ll even make sure that there is milk in the fridge, so you can have a cup of team before you start the unpacking.”

The homes created by Fusion Residential feature the latest audio-visual, information technology and security systems. Purchasers will be taken through the systems, step by step, during consultations with the specialist providers, to ensure that each system is designed to their exact requirements. The user-friendly systems include mood lighting, multi-room music control and the latest in home security.

Mr Fresco continues: “At Fusion Residential, we want to ensure that each purchaser feels they can ask us anything about their move. Buying a house is a major investment and we want our purchasers to feel as relaxed as possible, knowing that they can come to us with any issue, no matter how big or small.”

There are a number of Fusion Residential developments where purchasers will be provided with the bespoke client-care service.

Its projects include Chenies Place, a luxury development of just six detached houses, on Barnet Road in Arkley, Herts. Prices start at £1.8 million, for a five-bedroom detached house with landscaped garden. For more information, contact Preston Bennett or Statons.

At Amara Lodge, on Cockfosters Road in Hadley Wood, Fusion Residential is developing an exclusive collection of just 13 three-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom penthouses, which have been designed within two individual buildings.

Heywood House is a luxurious six-bedroom detached house in Emerson Park, Essex, providing 7,000 sq ft of living accommodation over three floors. The substantial home will provide a stunning kitchen, opening into a spacious family room and breakfast area. This is sure to become the hub of the household.

A separate games room, drawing room, dining room, study and indoor swimming pool complex complete the ground-floor accommodation.
