Manchester's Robert Marks has scooped a Great Retail national award for best retail initiative - the special events programme at his Manchester art gallery, Generation Pop. The gallery works with the world's most collectible artists and is authorised by the major Hollywood studios to sell their ranges of animation and fine art. Later this year it will host The Simpsons exhibition. He said: "To be in the same room with the likes of Marks & Spencer and John Lewis and walk away with an award was an amazing honour."
