Paintbrushes and artist's palettes were out in force this season with designers taking inspiration from street, traditional and modern art movements, each resulting in stunning masterpieces.
The big players were Celine who took graffiti off the wall and straight on to the most eye-catching dresses. Prada went for larger-than-life Andy Warhol style pop- art prints while Chanel splattered brush strokes and impressionist marks on their entire collection. Expect to see all of these artistic looks filtering down to the high street with oversized prints, messy swirls and geometric designs aplenty.
A primary colour palette of red, blue and yellow with flashes of green, white and black gives spring/ summer fashion a playful edge.
It's time to master and embrace the art of creative dressing. Consider yourself a piece of living art.
