When reflecting on 2023, it is impossible not to immediately think of the terrorist attacks committed against our beloved State of Israel.
We are fortunate in Greater Manchester to have a thriving community who undertake invaluable work to care for those who are less fortunate.
As the community’s representative body, we are in regular contact with civic society and those who are elected to represent us. It is essential to hold an annual event with our friends from across society which serves the dual purpose of demonstrating how we are an integrated and proud community whilst simultaneously highlighting the support we are fortunate to enjoy. At the event, we had the Lord Lieutenant, the High Sheriff, MPs, the Police & Crime Commissioner, Council Leaders, the Chief Executive, and ceremonial mayors alongside religious leaders from across Greater Manchester.

At the start of the year, we will be replicating the March Against Antisemitism on the streets of Manchester. It is more important than ever that our community unites and we give the opportunity for our many friends to stand in solidarity with us during this challenging time.
We will also continue to prioritise representing our community by celebrating the incredible work of our organisations. It is truly humbling to be in a position where we can assist charities we all care deeply about.
