Forgive us, please, if we blow our own trumpet. Last week we reported that Leonard Cohen was due to appear in concert in London on Yom Kippur and in Leeds on Rosh Hashanah. There was, not surprisingly, disquiet - to put it mildly - that so iconic a Jewish artist could appear on those of all dates. The JC speaks - and icons listen. When Mr Cohen learned that he was due to perform on those dates, he immediately arranged to have the concerts moved - no small task. Pats on the back all round.
