It would be no small achievement for any nation to be ranked fifth in the rankings for Nobel Prize winners . But for a country with a population of 8 million - and which is surrounded by enemies who would rejoice if it was wiped off the map - it is staggering.
Then again, when it comes to staggering achievements Israel usually ranks first. Pretty much every aspect of Israel is staggering. In all the gloom that sometimes surrounds us, we should never forget what an astonishing country Israel is.
