I'm now in Jerusalem, seeing children, grandchildren, and friends. Also visiting the Rose Archive of Shenkar College in Ramat Gan, to which we gave my wife Gwen's collection of embroideries and textiles after she died.
The weather here is warm and sunny, a very pleasant change from the freezing UK I left yesterday.
We left with some difficulty -- the ElAl plane sat at the gate for over 45 minutes without moving, and we were told that on the way in it had circled for an hour before being able to land. Heathrow is a disaster and the sooner they build a more appropriate airport on a more suitable site, the better.
