Thursday, October 3 (Tishri 1), first day Rosh Hashanah. Torah portion: Genesis 21:1-34 and Numbers 29:1-6. Haftarah: 1 Samuel 1:1 to 2:10.

The second night of Rosh Hashanah begins in London at 7.21; Bournemouth 7.32; Leeds 7.26; Manchester 7.29; Gateshead 7.30; Glasgow 7.38.

Friday, October 4 (Tishri 2), second day Rosh Hashanah. Torah portion: Genesis 22:1-24 and Numbers 29:1-6. Haftarah: Jeremiah 31:1-19.

Shabbat begins in London at 6.17; Bournemouth 6.20; Leeds 6.16; Manchester 6.22; Gateshead 6.18; Glasgow 6.28.

Saturday, October 5 (Tishri 3), Shabbat Shuvah. Torah portion: Ha’azinu, Deuteronomy 32:1-52. Haftarah: (Sephardim) Hosea 14:2-10 and Micah 7:18-20; (Ashkenazim) Hosea 14:2-10,  Micah 7:18-20 and Joel 2:15-27 .

Shabbat ends in London at 7.16; Bournemouth 7.26; Leeds 7.22; Manchester 7.24; Gateshead 7.25; Glasgow 7.33.

Sunday, October 6 (Tishri 4). The Fast of Gedaliah, which ends in London at 7.08; Bournemouth 7.15; Leeds 7.05; Manchester 7.15; Gateshead 7.13; Glasgow 7.24.
