Monty Python star John Cleese has agreed to join the cast of an Israeli heist film.
The former Fawlty Towers actor will star as an eccentric aristocrat who becomes embroiled in a bank robbery plot.
Hunting Elephants will be directed by writer Reshef Levi, a well-known name in Israel for his work. It tells the story of a precocious boy hoping to save his family home and the pensioners he enlists to help him.
Iraqi actor Sasson Gabai will co-star in the film.
Producer Ehud Bleiberg said having the "legendary" Mr Cleese on board was "too good to be true".
"I've been developing this project with Reshef for over two years and can't imagine the package coming together any better than this."
