Jarryd Rubinstein, a 26-year-old banker from Sydney has broken the world record for muscleups, a training technique he learnt during his years in the IDF's elite Sayeret Golani unit
Mr Rubinstein brought his new workout back home to Australia where his impressed friends posted a YouTube video of him performing the tricky exercise, gaining 60,000 hits.
When no-one else emerged to challenge his record of 26 consecutive muscle-ups, Mr Rubinstein decided to get himself into the the Guiness Book of Records. Having sealed his place in the record books, Mr Rubinstein plans to concentrate on his MBA... unless anyone challenges his title.
