North West London Jewish Day School has been shortlisted for a prestigious Tes (Times Educational Supplement) award.
The Orthodox primary in Willesden, one of the oldest Jewish day schools in London, is one of eight nominees for Primary School of the Year.
NWLJDS headteacher Judith Caplan said she was “thrilled and honoured” at the nomination.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, Trustees and Governors, parents and pupils who have all contributed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive academically and personally,” she said.
“Our school is committed to providing a high-quality education that caters to the individual needs and abilities of each and every pupil. We believe that education is not just about achieving academic excellence, but also about fostering personal growth, promoting social and emotional wellbeing, and instilling a lifelong love of learning.
“I am incredibly proud of our staff and their dedication and hard work which makes a difference to the education of our pupils.”
The winners will be announced on June 23.
