Three pupils from Beit Shvidler Primary in Edgware have received prizes for their sporting endeavours from an organisation which runs PE and sports clubs in schools.
Elms Sports in Schools holds a national competition, where pupils are evaluated on a number of criteria including teamwork and work ethic.
In the winter session of the Elms National Championship Leaderboard, ESS announced, “incredibly, the top three pupils all come from Beit Shvidler – quite remarkable as we had over 4,000 participants.”
Avital Levine, 11, was champion: Ayelet Bloch, 10, runner-up, and Gila Youngerwood,10, third. Each girl receives a free term’s sport tuition with a £100 first prize shared between pupil and school, £75 for second and £50 third.
Eliezer Segal, Beit Shvidler’s PE lead, said “We are thrilled with and very proud of the girls’ achievements.”
