Dean Furman says Doncaster's dramatic dash to the League One title has capped off a dream year.

The midfielder spent the weekend celebrating promotion to the Championship after Rovers clinched an incredible last-gasp win at League One rivals Brentford.

Rovers scored in the final minute of the final game of the season, just seconds after the Brentford had missed a penalty – a spot kick which would have seen the Bees pip Rovers to promotion.

And Furman, whose loan deal from Oldham has now expired, says Saturday’s title triumph has rounded off an dream year, which saw him establish himself on the international stage with South Africa.
