Last week’s regional qualifying tournament saw them battle their way through three rounds of qualifiers, coming out on top of 30 schools in the Enfield round, before triumphing against schools from Middlesex and finally South East England, where they beat a school from Sussex 3-0, to earn their place at the Championship’s bet365 stadium.
Adam Warner, who doubles up as the boy’s teacher and manager, said: “I’m extremely proud to see the journey they have gone on this year. For the boys to be representing the Jewish community as well as our borough Enfield, county Middlesex and South East region, is a phenomenal achievement.”
There was even more reason for the school to celebrate as eight of the ten boys who took part in the Pokémon Cup qualifier, also competed in the Tottenham Hotspur Premier League Primary Stars qualification tournament, and once again emerged victorious. Competing against 30 schools from Haringey and Enfield, the boys they beat Raglan Primary School 2-0 in the final which means they will now travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineaux stadium in June where they will represent Spurs at the Premier League Primary Stars Finals. Warner said: “It was another phenomenal achievement by the boys and they are proud to represent the Jewish community and Tottenham Hotspur.”
