In Division One, Brady FC are still dreaming of a top-three finish as two goals from Joe Shaw helped them come away from Redbridge Jewish Care with a 3-0 win. Jack Brand’s injury-time strike put the gloss on the performance for Ricky Ansher’s side.
The battle of the bottom two resulted in Brook Farm Rovers claiming just their second league win of the season as two goals from Daniel Miller saw them earn a 2-0 win at home to Hampstead Ducks. Rovers’ Toby Nathan said: “It was an excellent performance to a man. Solid defensively, we created good chances and scored two great goals. Daniel was great up front, Ben Chilton ran the midfield and Gavriel Nussbaum was a rock at the back.”
Rapid Vienna ended their Division Two league campaign on a high as Jack Miller’s first-ever hat-trick inspired them to a 7-2 win at 40 Year Wanderers. Jack Miller scored twice, with Max Aston and Louis Jays – his first goal for the club being a 35-yard screamer into the top corner – wrapping up the win. Manager Josh Novack said: “We were class today, winning every ball and fighting until the very end. It was a great performance all round from my players.”
Champions Sukkotingham Forest continued in their quest to end their league campaign unbeaten as they racked up win number 12, defeating second-place HMH Camden 4-2. Samuel Mallett scored twice, with Eytan Millan and Josh Summerfield also on target.
The other game in the Division was a six-goal thriller as Bocher Juniors and bottom side Beitar Bushey played out a 3-3 draw. Reuben Gordon, Mark Pearce and Jared Bourne scored for Bushey, though they were unable to hold on for the win, conceding a late leveller. Manager Aaron Conway said: “The boys put in 100% effort today and despite the awful conditions managed to get some early goals and stay in the game, leading for large portions. We knew it would be a tough game and our back line would be tested heavily for 90 minutes, but I'm happy with every one of our lads' performances. It’s gutting to concede so late, but we gave a good account of ourselves and remain unbeaten in 2025.” Solly Levy scored twice for Juniors, with Judah Yawitch hitting their late equaliser. Manager Joel Ucko said: “It wasn’t a great performance from us by any means, but we are pleased to have picked up a point. Promotion is still in our hands and that is the main thing.”
Mill Hill Minyan are also closing in on a cup final as they won 4-2 at Temple Fortune to secure their place into the semi-finals of the David Wolff Division Two Cup, in doing so claiming their third win over Fortune this season. James Shortland, Jamie Boys, Saul Westbrook and Alexander Spencer-Hope all got on the scoresheet, with Minyan’s Saul Westbrook saying: “After a run of unfortunate results, and despite not having any substitutions, we put in a spirited performance. After a slow start conceding an early goal, James’ stunning strike took us in level at the break. At 2-2 the match looked to be going to penalties, but we showed desire, managed to find another gear and scored twice in the last 10 minutes to send us through. We’re excited to see how far we can go in the end of season cup competitions and to see if we can get our hands on some silverware in our first season.” Sam Baskind and Michael Goldberg scored for Fortune.
HMH A kept up the pressure on leaders Hendon United at the top of the Premier Division as they edged past London Athletico 2-1. Zacki Doumou fired Athletico ahead from a corner, but ultimately fell short as HMH turned the match around in the second half. Athletico manager Jess Phillips said: “At 1-0 up a key decision didn’t go our way, they equalised and then grabbed a second later on in the second half. Our first half performance was solid, but we didn't quite have the legs for the second half.”
Maccabi London Lions moved to the top of the Maccabi Masters Football League Division One table as a brace from Tony Gold set them on their way to a 7-0 win at Brady. Further strikes from Paul Allen, Bradley Lazarus, Wayne Davidson, Scott Levy and Michael Abraham completed the rout.
EHRS extended their lead at the top of Division 2 thanks to a 7-1 win over Hendon Harriers. Inspired by a Martin Seifert hat-trick, Gary Good chipped in with two goals, with Dan Hodes and Jeremy Derman netting their other two. Ben Simons replied for Harriers.
London Lions’ First XI failed to register their third consecutive Spartans South Midlands Football League Premier Division win as a later goal saw them defeated 2-1 at Harpenden Town. Danny Webb put the hosts ahead just past the quarter-hour mark and although Lions drew level from the penalty spot, Hadley Gleeson’s 92nd minute strike sunk Lions hearts. The defeat means Lions now sit in fifth place in the table.
