Over 60 revellers celebrated Kingston, Surbiton & District Synagogue's first ever Burns Supper & Melava Malka organised by "Wee Jackie" Green and Rebbetzen Shoshana Landau.
The kosher vegetarian haggis was piped in by Bernie Cohen and addressed by Paul Solomons. During a four course supper, washed down by copious quantities of single malt, the participants were regaled with dramatic renditions of Burns' poetry., performed by Rabbi Samuel Landau and other members of the community.
