Liverpool King David’s head girl has left on a high with A-stars in A-level history and English literature and an A in English language. Rebecca Hayward — “a valuable member of the Jewish community in Liverpool” — is going on to study at Leeds, as is deputy head boy Bradley Alis, who achieved A grades in history, maths and business studies and a B in general studies.

Another high performing Liverpool King David Jewish student was Joshua Davies, who recorded three A grades, a B and a C.

Hadas Farage, Joe Rosenblatt and Chloe Goldenberg each gained two A grades and a B.
