Nick Lee is literally a cut above the rest as the winner of the Barber of the Year contest.
The owner of Mantra Men’s Hair and Grooming in Finchley Central wowed the judges at the competition, held at the Salon International trade show at London’s ExCeL centre.
One of the judges, Joe Mills, said: “For me, Nick’s cut and working process was by far one of the standouts on the day.
“He has a great technique and understanding of where men’s hair and barbering is heading. That’s why he won the award.”
Mr Lee told the JC that his victory was “very unexpected and a really great accomplishment”.
