Dylan takes the biscuit for charity bake with his great-grandma

articlemain

A seven-year-old Etz Chaim pupil from Mill Hill has teamed up with his great-grandma to raise money for a Jewish school for children with special needs.

A big Junior Bake Off fan, Dylan Milich decided to bake biscuits with 97-year-old Helga Lema and sell them in aid of the Gesher School.

“I feel very passionate about raising money for Gesher as it’s a school for children with special educational needs,” he said.

He had been inspired by the "hard work" his aunt - Gesher co-founder Ali Durban - had put in with Sarah Sultman to establish it.

Dylan added that his great-grandma "is always very charitable and will use any excuse to spend a whole day with me and my mummy and eat biscuits".

He has already raised £400 via his fundraising page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KimMilich
